Aviation enthusiasts have been invited to an open day to promote the launch of Spitfire flights over Norfolk.
The pleasure flights - in a two-seater version of the legendary aircraft - are being offered this summer by company FlyaSpitfire.
Before they take off, a special event from 2pm to 5pm this Saturday is being held by Saxon Air - which is helping organise the flights - at its site near Norwich Airport.
Visitors will not get a chance to fly a Spitfire this weekend, but will be able to see the aircraft up close in a hangar and see it take off.
There will also be living history displays from Norfolk Military Vehicle Group and Discover D-Day, among others.
Guest speakers will include historian and author Neil Storey and Nigel Cushion, grandson of a Spitfire pilot and author of 'Warden's War'.
Spitfire pleasure flights at Saxon Air - taking off from Norwich Airport - can be booked on selected dates between May and September.
Tickets for the weekend event are subject to availability due to limited capacity.
Interested parties can find more information and secure their place at the event by visiting the Eventbrite page or sending an email to lda@saxonair.com.
