The body of a 29-year-old driver was discovered in a Norfolk beauty spot more than 100 miles away from his home, a court had heard.
Santhiago Dias died earlier this month, on April 1, in woodland off Beccles Road in Fritton close to Fritton Lake, between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.
An inquest into his death was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court, based at County Hall in Norwich, on April 10.
His cousin confirmed to the court that Mr Dias lived in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and had been born in Brazil on February 12, 1995.
Area coroner Yvonne Blake recorded the medical cause of death as “hanging by the neck”.
A full inquest to determine the official cause of death will take place later in year at the court.
