A Latvian man in his 40s is due to appear in court charged with assault by beating and criminal damage.
Normunds Steinbergs, 45, of Station Road Thetford, has been bailed to appear before Norwich Magistrates' Court on May 8.

The charge is understood to relate to an alleged attack on a 14-year-old girl walking home from school which saw her beaten, thrown into a hedge, and her coat torn.
A Suffolk police spokesman said: "A Thetford man has been charged with assault by beating and criminal damage in Thetford on March 28."
