Norwich's former Toys R Us is being transformed after years of standing empty - with a new Home Bargains store due to take its place.
Discount store Home Bargains last year secured planning permission from Norwich City Council for a new store in units A and C of Cathedral Retail Park in Westwick Street.
And, five years after the toy retailer left one of the units - with the other previously held by Peacocks - work has now started on the new store.
The retailer is merging the two units together and refurbishing the interiors, which it stated were in "poor condition" in the planning documents it lodged with City Hall.
As these pictures show, builders are now on site and are carrying out the necessary work on the building.
Home Bargains has said the new 4,134 square metre store will employ 100 members of staff.
In the early 1990s, when the units were first constructed, they were home to B&Q and Comet.
Home Bargains already has two stores in the city - in Drayton Road and on the Hall Road Retail Park.
