A seasoned publican recently took on a 'hidden gem' bar and restaurant on the Norfolk Broads and she wants to put it firmly on the map as a dining destination.
Jill Tickle, who previously ran The King's Head in Hethersett and The Green Dragon in Wymondham, is now at the helm of The Water's Edge in Bramerton.
The latter is located between Norwich and Brundall along the River Yare and there are moorings for boaters.

She is building on the success of the previous owner Lee Webb, who was at The Water's Edge for more than 11 years.
Husband-and-wife team James and Natasha Stewart are the new head chef and general manager, respectively, and they have brought fresh ideas and flavours.
Ms Tickle said: "While we have a very similar ethos to the previous owner Lee for excellent food and service, we do have our own identity - look out for our chef James' signature dishes.

"We will still be seafood-led throughout the summer, but with some delicious plant-based dishes too and we cater for various dietary requirements."
It is something of a full circle moment for Ms Tickle, who first visited The Water's Edge as a teenager.
She said: "My dad was the landlord at The White Horse in Crostwick and he knew the owners of The Water's Edge and brought us for lunch one day.
"I remember looking out on the water and being wowed."

Other new additions in the pipeline include the opening of three upstairs bedrooms next year.
The pub is currently open from Wednesday to Sunday, which should go up to seven days a week later in the season depending on staffing.
They are currently recruiting for several roles, including a sous chef and front-of-house positions.
Ms Tickle added: "The Water's Edge is a real hidden gem and customers like how welcoming we are and the ideas we have."
