The organisers of Cromer Carnival have announced that the Red Arrows will be unable to perform at the 2024 event.
The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team's display is an annual highlight of the week-long celebration as they soar above the pier.
However, this year the group will not be coming to north Norfolk due to scheduling conflicts, but fortunately an exciting alternative has been revealed.

Cromer Carnival said: "The Red Arrows have announced their 2024 display schedule and they are performing in Canada for most of August.
"Unfortunately, this means they will not be attending Cromer Carnival 2024.
"However we have been successfully allocated a 'Spitfire and Hurricane Display' from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight."

In 2023, the Red Arrows display at Cromer Carnival was cancelled at the last minute due to technical difficulties.
The Cromer Carnival 2024 dates are Saturday, August 17 to Friday, August 23, with the aerial display typically on Wednesday.
This is the main Carnival Day, which also features a range of activities, an evening parade and live music.
