A Norfolk Broads pub will reopen under new management this weekend.
The Maltsters, in Ranworth, dates back to the 18th century and lies on the banks of the Malthouse Broad.
It closed its doors in December but has since been saved by a local businessman who will reopen it on Saturday.
Steve Gray, who runs The Granary restaurant opposite the pub, thought it was a shame to see it go and reached out to the pub's managing brewery.
"I had a look at it and phoned the brewery and they sent me on a week's course to learn how to run a pub," Mr Gray said. "It was good fun, to be honest."
Since then, the pub has been refurbished with a new kitchen being fitted and the outdoor pizza den freshened up.
Pizzas will still be made fresh on-site and The Maltsers' new chef, Aaron, has created a broader menu featuring pub classics.
"We will have so much live music - and we'll also have Sky Sports - the locals can't wait to get the pub back open," Mr Gray added.
The venue will be open for drinks from 5pm on Saturday and food will be served from April 6.
