A man accused of stealing hundreds of pounds worth of vodka from a Norwich petrol station refused to leave his prison cell to attend court.
David Smith, 45, has been charged with burglary after 12 bottles of AU Vodka were taken from the Jet Petrol Station on Plumstead Road East worth £500.
Norwich Magistrates Court heard Smith, of Norwich Prison, had "refused to come out of his cell" to appear over the videolink for the hearing at court on Tuesday.
The case was adjourned until Tuesday, April 2.
