With its home for almost half a century closed for a major refurbishment, a decision has now been made about the Norwich Beer Festival 2024.
The annual week-long event takes place in October at The Halls and it is organised by the Norwich & District Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) group and volunteers serve at the various bars.
It offers a huge range of brews from across Norfolk and beyond and it sells around 40,000 pints each year.

It has remained uncertain whether the 2024 event would be able to go ahead at a different venue, with The Halls closed for a multi-million pound revamp until spring 2025.

However, it has now been announced that no suitable alternate location has been found.
A spokesperson for Norwich Beer Festival said: "Unfortunately the 2024 Norwich Beer Festival cannot take place as the venue for the last 45 years, The Halls, is closed for repairs until early 2025, and there is no other suitable venue.
"We look forward to seeing you again in October 2025!"
