A man in his 30s has appeared in court charged with multiple shoplifting offences.
The 34-year-old was accused of stealing various types of alcohol from stores in North Walsham and Norwich throughout March.
He was arrested on March 20 and taken to Aylsham Police Station for questioning where he was later charged.
Matthew Palmer, of William Kett Close in Norwich, appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on March 22 charged with four counts of shoplifting and one public order offence of threatening behaviour.
Palmer pleaded guilty to the offences of theft and was released on bail with conditions.
He is due to appear again at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on October 24.
