A Norfolk publisher is ‘over the moon’ after being named winner at a national book award ceremony.
Dodo and Dinosaur, an independent publisher and design studio based in
Yaxham, near Dereham, won the children's book category at the London Book Fair’s Selfies Book Awards for their new children’s book Extraordinary Extinct Prehistoric Minibeasts: A First Guide to Fossils.

Mrs Smith, co-author and illustrator, said: "We are over the moon that our pocket-sized guide has won this prestigious award. It means so much to us as a micro-press to have been recognised for our work."
The awards champion independent publishers and the Norfolk team triumphed over seven other titles at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in Hammersmith.
The book encourages explorers to discover nine ancient minibeasts you can find on beaches, in gardens and muddy fields, from tentacled ammonites and belemnites to ancient sea urchins and surprising sponges.
The duo is hosting some activities at Bear Grylls' Gone Wild Festival at Holkham Hall in August.
