A woman is hoping to build four houses in a quiet riverside village.
Paula Skippings has submitted an application to Great Yarmouth Borough Council seeking permission in principle to build the homes in Stokesby.
The site is on land north of Filby Road and according to the proposals is located in an "open gap" in the village.
The plans include one bungalow and green amenity space.

A planning statement says the bungalow would be suitable for elderly or disabled residents, allowing them to stay in the village.
The remaining three houses would likely be two-storey and accessed off Filby Road.
The applicant says the green space would provide an area for social interaction for both residents of the houses and people already living in Stokesby.
A document submitted with the application states Ms Skippings intends to consult Stokesby with Herringby Parish Council on how best the space could be used to maximise benefits for the local community.
A decision on the bid is expected by April 9.
