Drivers are being urged to find alternative routes today as a new bridge remains closed.
Norfolk County Council is advising drivers to avoid the Herring Bridge area in Great Yarmouth while works to fix an issue continue.
The £121m bridge opened six weeks ago but on Wednesday a "minor technical fault" caused it to be stuck for more than 30 minutes.
It is the second time the bridge has broken since opening.

The bridge remains closed in the "down" position, with cones in place at the entry points on William Adams Way and South Denes Road.
Graham Plant, the Norfolk county councillor in charge of transport, said the authority is currently "in the dark" about what is causing the issue.
Efforts to repair the bridge have been stalled by people crossing the barriers illegally.
Fencing has been installed at both entrances to the bridge to try and stop people from accessing it.
