Drivers face delays and diversions while emergency repairs are carried out to a busy bridge on Norfolk's border with Lincolnshire.
A barrier on the west-bound carriageway of Cross Keys Swing Bridge at Sutton Bridge, near King's Lynn, was damaged on Wednesday night when a vehicle collided with it.
The bridge carries the busy A17 across the tidal River Nene and forms one of the main gateways in and out of Norfolk.
Karen Cassar, Lincolnshire County Council's assistant director of highways, said the damage would be repaired on Friday, March 15.
“Unfortunately, we’ll need to close the westbound-side of the bridge while we carry out these works," she said. "This is to ensure the safety of road users and our workforce.”

The repair works will start at 9.30am and last for up to five hours. Temporary traffic signals will be in place on the bridge.
An alternative route is advised along the A47 and A1101 via Wisbech, a detour of around 20 miles.
Mrs Cassar said: "We encourage anyone planning to use the A17 between 9:30am and 2:30pm on Friday to leave extra time for their journeys as there will very likely be delays."
