A new micro pub could soon be opening in a north Norfolk town.
An application for an alcohol licence has been lodged with North Norfolk District Council ahead of the planned opening of the Canny Fox in Holt's Appleyard shopping precinct.
Danny Doran is planning to celebrate everything Norfolk including beer, spirits and snacks made locally, and is already in talks with Wildcraft Brewery, which is based near Stalham.
Mr Doran said: "I'm going to do my very best to create something for the community, it's a real passion project for me."

The pub is set to be dedicated to Mr Doran's late father, a Geordie known as 'the silver fox' whom The Canny Fox name is dedicated to.
Mr Doran has previously worked in the hospitality industry, including running a guest house in Australia, and plans to run the pub alongside his council day job.
He added: "The site in Appleyard is a blank canvas, so if we're successful in the application we are hoping to make a space where there's something for everyone."
According to the application, the pub could be open seven days a week from 11am until 10pm.
