Golfers, guests, visitors and staff rallied to support a city-based testicular cancer charity.
Sprowston Manor Hotel Golf and Country Club members and staff are helping to raise the profile for 'It’s On The Ball', a voluntary support network for men and their families who are affected by testicular cancer.
Efforts to promote It's On The Ball were inspired after a member of the Apollo Golf Tour, a group of golfers at the club with a 'big heart', was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2022.
The club has since raised £4,100, which allowed the charity to soft launch a new Picture Text Messaging Service on March 1.
The main launch is set to take place on April 1, promoting monthly checks.

The charity's CEO, Vince Wolverson, said: “It is vitally important for men of all ages to check themselves regularly and we believe our picture message service is a great way of reminding men to do this on the first of every month.
"We are so grateful for the funds raised by Apollo Golf and the Sprowston Manor golfers which will enable us to provide this service for the next 12 months."
It’s On The Ball held several presentations at the Sprowston Manor Clubhouse as well as providing support packs.
