An independent Norfolk bookshop has earned national attention after being named among the best in the UK.
Kett's Books in Wymondham has been crowned the best bookshop in the eastern region in this year's British Book Awards.
Known as 'the nibbies' the awards celebrates the bookshops that support local communities with creative, community-centred activities.
Kett's Books relocated to its new home in Market Place in September 2023, leaving Whartons Court to move into the former home of Wymondham Vets.

The inside of the shop was designed by Jack Kinsey, a finalist in the most recent series of BBC TV show Interior Design Masters with Alan Carr.
Tracy Kenny, co-founder and director, said: “Jack’s design has made the bookshop just as cosy and welcoming as it always has been – but with his touch, it is absolutely enchanting."
A spokesman from the British Book Awards added: "The new shop has seen a fantastic response, with footfall, sales and engagement from the community showing a deep success."
The shop has been run by volunteers as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) since 2014 when the town's previous bookshop was set to close forever.
