Three people have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit attempted murder after a man was stabbed.
Emergency services were called to reports of a fight in Bury Road in Thetford at about 11.50am on Sunday, March 10.
A man in his 30s suffered multiple stab wounds in the incident and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, where he is in a critical condition.
Two women and a man have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit attempted murder.
Following initial inquiries officers have also attended a property in Amulet Close and a cordon is in place there.
Bury Road is currently closed.
Supt Sonia Humphreys, who is leading the investigation, said: "We understand this will be concerning to any residents in the area who witnessed the incident and we will have officers on patrol in the area.
“An investigation has been launched and we are in the early stages of our enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
