A man has died following a crash between a tractor and a car this morning.

Officers were called to the A1075, between the junctions with Stow Bedon Road and the B1111, shortly before 7am.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.

A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

The road was closed for most of the day and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
