A woman accused of causing the death of a van driver in west Suffolk last year will appear before crown court next month.
Keeley Pryke, of Cole Drive, Great Cornard, near Sudbury, is accused of causing the death of Giles Burfield on February 10, 2022, by careless or inconsiderate driving.
Mr Burfield, 39, died following a serious crash between his van and an Audi on the B1106 between the A11 junction in Elveden and Brockley Corner in Culford.
Police, five fire engines from across Suffolk and Norfolk and the ambulance service were called to the road shortly after 6.50am.
The van driver – a man in his 30s – was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Audi, a woman in her 20s, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with potentially life-threatening injuries.
On Friday, 25-year-old Pryke appeared at Suffolk Magistrates' Court where the case was sent to Ipswich Crown Court to appear on March 22, and she was given unconditional bail.
A Suffolk Magistrates' Court spokesperson said the defendant had elected for trial by jury.
