An independent Norwich bookshop has been named one of the best in the UK.
International publisher Faber named the shop, which is based in London Street, as its bookshop of the month in a recent feature.
It described the BookHive as a "Norwich institution".
In an interview with the publisher, a spokesman from the shop said: "I opened the shop in 2009 as Norwich had no indies – just two branches of Waterstones and a Borders.

"For a city that is so steeped in literary history and activity, it seemed amazing that there wasn’t one. I was sure that despite being in mid-recession the city would support it and it did, from day one."
The shop tends to only stock one of each title giving it a huge variety of options for its size.
In the feature, the BookHive also promoted other local independent businesses - highlighting neighbouring Cafe Gelato as well as French bistro L'Hexagone in Lower Gate Lane.
