Sunny Hunny will once again be filled with weird and wonderful go-karts as a popular event is returning later this year.
The Hunstanton Soapbox Derby is back on Sunday, September 22 2024 and while the timings are to be confirmed, the races normally begin around midday.
The derby, which was first held in 1953, historically takes place at the end of the season, but in 2023 it was rescheduled to April.

The event, which has been organised by the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk since 2017, has now been moved back to September.

This is due to an array of factors, including giving entrants more time to make the karts, scheduling with other UK soapbox events and it is easier to get hay bales to line the track later in the year.
People come from across the country to take part in their homemade and themed go-karts and the 2024 application forms will be released at the end of March.
The event takes place in the town centre and in 2023 there were around 40 teams and 5,000 spectators.
