A Norfolk primary school remains closed for a third day after serious flooding.
Middleton Church of England Primary School, near King's Lynn, was shut on Friday after two classrooms flooded.
Norfolk County Council announced the third day of closures on their website at around 7.30am today.
This follows a weekend of heavy rainfall and further flood alerts issued around Norfolk, including for the areas around King's Lynn on Monday.
Rachael Greenhalgh, the executive headteacher of Gayton and Middleton Primary Academies, said yesterday: "We are hopeful that the oldest class will be able to return to school tomorrow and we are working hard to be fully open as soon as possible.
"Home learning will continue to be set for any pupils that are not able to be in school."
The site suffered significant electrical damage in the flooding.
