Sheringham and Cromer Roundtable have donated half of their New Year's Day Dip profits to Sheringham Lifeboat Station.
The donation will contribute towards the running costs at the life-saving facility.
Roundtable chairman Will Moy handed over the cheque during a visit to the station's dedicated crew.
This year's New Year's Day Dip attracted more than 400 brave participants, with a crowd of more than 1000 spectators.
Profits were raised from their generous donations made during the event.

The remaining half of the profits will be distributed to other local causes in the upcoming weeks.

The Roundtable's vice-chairman, Richard Myhill, said: “Supporting local causes through donations is one of the reasons many of us joined Roundtable.
"It’s been fantastic to be able to do that through the New Year’s Day Dip, which also brought the community together by bringing back an event that was previously a regular in the North Norfolk calendar.”
