A motorist has appeared in court accused of causing the death of a man as he rode his Lambretta scooter on the A11.
David Sinar, 64, from North Walsham, died following the crash as he was riding towards Norwich on dual carriageway at Roudham in September 2021.
Norwich Magistrates’ Court heard his scooter had been hit by a Vauxhall Corsa between the A1075 at Thetford and the B1111 junction at Larling.

Amber Potter, 22, who was at the wheel of the car, appeared before the court charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Sarah Fiddy, prosecuting, said Mr Sinar had been hit from behind and had been thrown from his scooter up onto the bonnet of the car before falling back onto the road when the brakes were applied.
Despite the attention of emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Potter, of Livingstone Street in Norwich, did not enter a plea and spoke only to give her name, address and to confirm she understood the court proceedings.
Deputy District Judge Sundeep Pankhania committed the case to be heard at Norwich Crown Court.
“This is so serious I am not entitled to hear it in this court and indeed I am not even able to take your plea on it,” he told Potter.

Addressing several members of Mr Sinar’s family who were in the public gallery, he added: “This is clearly a very tragic case and it is not up to me to determine guilt, but I thank you for attending in such a dignified manner.”
Shortly before his death, Mr Sinar, a former vehicle inspector and motor parts delivery driver, had semi-retired to spend more time with his elderly mother.
His family said he was a "very competent" motorcyclist and dedicated pedal cyclist who had over the years owned everything from Harley-Davidsons to scooters.
"He touched the lives of so many people and leaves behind a loving wife, 16-year-old son, a 95-year-old mother, a brother and sister, nephews and nieces, who are all devastated by his passing and will never get over the fact he has been taken from us," they said in a statement following his death.
