An innovation hub at the heart of the “east’s energy coast” has added two more companies to its growing list of tenants.
Orbis Energy, a co-working space in Lowestoft which provides facilities for firms operating in the renewable energy sector, welcomed VGC Energy and Randall Accommodation to its lease list, which now features more than 35 companies.
VGC Energy, a business which provides support services to infrastructure, construction and energy projects across the UK, has taken a physical tenancy at OrbisEnergy to strengthen its presence in the east.
It already has 11 locations across the country, including an office in Lowestoft.
Operations manager, Michaela Folkes, said: “We are working with a number of companies in the area, so we needed an office.
“This area is quite the place to be with the activity at Sizewell C, the construction of East Anglia Three by Scottish Power Renewables, the infrastructure investment at the ports and the move towards low carbon hydrogen.”
The second company, Randall Accommodation, will join the building as a virtual tenant, meaning it can use the office and meeting rooms and receive mail and call handling services.
