A city beauty salon is expanding into a new venue after 10 years in business.

Charlotte Croft, who owns Glambox in St Benedicts Street, has announced that the firm is opening another venue in Spinney Road in Thorpe St Andrew.

The location in Norwich is set to remain the business' headquarters and the former Little Beauty Shop Building will become Glambox The Studio.

Ms Croft, who specialises in lashes, said: "We have a total of 17 staff members providing every treatment imaginable.

"Being at staff capacity, I have been searching for premises out of the city with easy access and free parking.

"I only needed something small to provide local residents similar treatments to what we offer in St Benedicts - so when I saw the shop at 65 Spinney Road become available on my Instagram newsfeed I messaged the owner straight away and viewed the premises within a few days."

It will offer the same treatments and some of the same staff will be available to book at both premises.

A launch date is yet to be announced but Ms Croft is hoping to open in April.
