Plans have been revealed for flats in a prominent listed building near one of a town's main gateways.
Ian Digger has applied to convert what is currently a house of multiple occupation on London Road in King's Lynn.
A planning statement says: "The property is Grade II listed building, but is not a scheduled monument.
"Although the property could be classified as a heritage asset the modest works cause no detrimental harm to the existing fabric and reinstate the dwelling back to its former use and grandeur."

Four flats are proposed for the building, which stands near the South Gate and dates back to the 1840s. A further property is planned in what is currently its garage.
The statement adds the development would ensure "its continued upkeep and preservation for years to come".
A decision from West Norfolk Council is expected later this year.
