A bomb squad was called to an incident in Great Yarmouth.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was at the scene at Yarmouth Business Park in Thamesfield Way.
Police were called to the scene at 1.18pm on Wednesday following reports of a suspicious package.
There was a police cordon in place throughout the afternoon.
The EOD team assessed the item and determined it was not explosive and the cordon was removed at around 7pm.
Works nearby will continue as normal today.
A suspected Second World War bomb was found in Great Yarmouth in February last year.
Several streets around the site were sealed off, affecting hundreds of households and businesses.
The unplanned explosion of the bomb could be seen across Great Yarmouth and was reportedly heard eight miles away in Hopton.
