A charity shop has brought its closing date forward a month after all its stock was sold out.
The Age UK Furniture and More store in Dereham's Yaxham Road closed for the final time on Wednesday (January 17).
Charity bosses had originally announced plans to shut up the shop in February.
The charity cited the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the ongoing cost of living crisis as the reason for the closure.
But, after news of its impending closure was announced last November, an outpouring of support from the community saw all its stock sell out.
Jen Field, head of supporting and enabling and deputy CEO, said: “The store closure was brought forward after the local community supported the shop until the last day of trading, purchasing the remaining stock.
"Age UK Norfolk would like to thank the community for their continued support and well wishes and look forward to using funds raised for the benefit of older people in Norfolk.”
In a Facebook post, the shop said: “We would like to thank all our lovely customers for their support, loyalty and kind words over the last few difficult weeks.”
