A village pub has reopened today with a familiar face behind the bar.
The Ram Inn in Brundall closed two months ago but is now back serving pints with a former landlord at the helm.
David Swannack ran The Ram from July 2018 to September 2020 and worked with Stonegate to complete a full refurbishment.
After seeing that his former pub was back on the market, Mr Swannack decided to take on the challenge for the community of Brundall.
He said: "We're not doing it for us, we're doing it for the community, the pub is at the heart of the village.
"We know how much it means to everyone.”

Mr Swannack wants to turn it "back to a drinkers pub" and is planning to hold a pub quiz in February that will become a monthly staple as well as a horse race event in April.
He added: "Pubs every day are fighting and struggling to stay open to the point it costs you your physical and mental health.
"Use it or lose it - your local pubs need you.”
