A new Indian takeaway could be opening in a Norfolk village.
Juber Ahmed has submitted plans to open the takeaway in Kenninghall, near Diss, at 2 Market Place.
The site is the former home of the Twin Teapots cafe which opened in 2021 under the ownership of Leah and Shaun Scott.
The pair opened the cafe to bring some much-needed "fun and enjoyment" into their lives after losing their daughter in 2017 and watching their twin sons go through intense life-saving treatment.

The business sold hot and cold food, full English breakfasts, cakes and scones but has since closed down.
Mr Ahmed is hoping to convert the vacant tea room into a takeaway which would be open between 5pm and 11pm seven days a week.
The plans would see the cafe transformed into a serving area, collection area and waiting room for takeaway customers.
