Locals in a growing market town will be taking to the polls to help decide the future of their town.
People living in Watton can take part in a referendum on Thursday (January 18), where they can vote on whether or not to adopt its new neighbourhood plan.
The important document will help form the policies used to dictate future development decisions.
It comes as about 400 homes are set to be built in the area.
According to Watton Council's neighbourhood plan statement, locals felt the town has been "forgotten" and "sidelined" in recent years.
Despite new developments, services and facilities have not increased to support the growing population, the document said.

Key issues in the neighbourhood plan include the risk of flooding, the decline of its high street and a lack of employment opportunities for young people in the area.
At the referendum, people will be asked whether or not they wish for Breckland Council to use the neighbourhood plan to help decide future planning applications.
The poll will be held on Thursday, January 18.
