Plans to set up a car repair business in a back garden have been turned down.
James Parker applied to build a shed in which to work on vehicles behind his home at Terrington St John, near King's Lynn.
A planning statement said he had previously rented a unit on a farm to work in, but the landlord needed it back, so he hoped to relocated the business to his home in New Road.

It added: "The site where the shed is to be located is to the rear of the applicant’s dwelling where the surrounding site boundaries are densely landscaped as existing, ensuring that the proposal is low impact on the local area and nearby dwellings."
It said the building would not be visible from the road or neighbouring properties and the development would have "no impact on the intrinsic rural character of the countryside".
But council planning officers have turned down the application. Its planning portal says it has been refused with no reason given.
