A Norfolk school has closed for the day following a night of torrential rain in the county.
Catfield CE VC Primary School, between Potter Heigham and Stalham, has announced that it is shut today (Friday, January 5).
The reason is listed on Norfolk County Council's emergency school closures list as "due to severe flooding and sewerage backing up into the school" that has made it "unsafe for children to be on-site".
It follows another night of heavy rain in Norfolk and there was a yellow weather warning in place until 3am this morning.

Two flood warnings are in place this morning for the River Nar and the River Yare affecting areas including Cringleford, Narborough, Marham and Trowse Newton.
There are 16 further flood alerts in place across Norfolk.
This has resulted in a number of road closures and traffic delays.
