A gastropub in Norfolk has revealed the secrets to its award-winning roast dinners.
The Gin Trap Inn in Ringstead has recently been ranked as having one of the top 10 roast dinners in the country by Rate Good Roasts.
Now David Layman, the director of the pub, has revealed how the team have perfected the British staple.
"We approach the Sunday roast as being a special treat,” he said. “We use the best ingredients, including dry-aged sirloin beef, and spend lots of time and care slow-cooking the pork belly, even making our own horseradish sauce to give our customers the best experience we possibly can."

The gastropub, which also boasts 16 bedrooms, was also awarded two AA rosettes for culinary excellence in August and it has now been recommended for three, reserved for "outstanding restaurants".
Mr Layman said they are “constantly developing everything” to build on this success.
He added: "We are very lucky to have such a loyal customer base that allows us to keep delivering and updating our dining experience and we aim to keep striving to gain more and more accolades."
