There was travel disruption this afternoon as part of a major road was closed due to a crash.

The A47 Acle Straight was closed due to an incident in the eastbound lane near the Branch Road junction for Halvergate at around 1pm. 

Police and fire services attended the scene, with fire crews from Great Yarmouth and Gorleston sent out before being told they were not needed and standing down at 1.09pm.

First posted on X that its X1 and X11 services were being diverted via Filby due to the closure.
