Travel through the Norfolk countryside in style as a heritage railway brings back its post-Christmas steam train rides.
The Mince Pie Special returns to the Bure Valley Railway, which runs between Aylsham and Wroxham, from December 27 2023 until January 3 2024.
It is Norfolk's longest narrow gauge railway and the 18-mile round trip follows the meandering River Bure through meadowland and ancient pasture.

Full-fare paying passengers will also get a free warm mince pie from the Whistlestop Café at Aylsham Station.
Tickets cost from £12-£19 for adults (aged 16+) and £8-£10 for children (aged 5-15), with under 5s going free and to bring your dog along it costs £3-£4.

Festive afternoon tea has also been available at the Whistlestop Café since mid-November and it is on offer until January 3.
It costs £14pp, including sandwiches, a sausage roll, a fruit scone, sweet treats and tea or coffee, and it can be made gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian or vegan if required.
