A former professional poker player has launched a new taxi firm in hopes of making cabs more accessible in Norfolk.
Luke Fisher, 28, started Luke's County Cars in Downham Market earlier this year after hearing complaints from locals who had to pre-book taxis two or three weeks in advance.
He said: "It's not very flexible booking that far ahead - if you want to go out for dinner, you just don't know that far ahead what time you'll want to come home.
"Everyone I asked was saying how awful it was so I thought starting a new service was a perfect idea."
Mr Fisher operated solo with one car for the first three months but is already able to expand his fleet and take on more jobs.
The entrepreneur previously played poker for a living but wanted to start a new venture to create a healthier lifestyle for himself.
He said: "When I was at uni, a friend got me into playing poker and I was able to fund my time at university from it.

"I played it professionally online for three years but that lifestyle wasn't sustainable - I would be living on takeaways and sleeping whenever I wasn't playing, so I just decided to use the money to buy a new business."
Mr Fisher said he has already taken passengers to most of the UK's major airports and attracts custom from as far as an hour out of Downham Market.
"It's honestly been the best start I could ask for," he said. "It's a lot more sociable than what I was doing before - I meet a lot of new people and have some really good chats."
He added that he was happy to be expanding already and excited to be able to begin a proper advertising campaign.
