Hundreds of homes in north Norfolk were hit by a power cut.
UK Power Networks said the outage was due to a fault with an overhead electrical cable.
Engineers were investigating and working to resolve the issue which was affecting 257 homes in and around Cromer.
Power was restored in the early hours of the morning at around 4am.
A total of 31 calls were made to UK Power Networks during the outage.
