A beloved Norfolk fish and chip shop which is a favourite with celebrities has been shortlisted for a national award.
Eric's Fish and Chips, which has locations in Hunstanton, Heacham and Holt, is a finalist in this year's National Fish and Chip Awards.
Noted for its "top-class" staff and training, the chippy is up for a trophy awarding its development in employee skill building, qualification earning and help to climb the professional ladder.
Eric's will join Cook’s from Haven and The Real Food Café in Tyndrum at a London awards show on February 28 to find out who will be crowned best.
Andrew Crook, the president of the National Federation of Fish Friers and the organiser of the awards, said: "This award is a salute to those embodying this mindset and showing their teams the many avenues available that can lead to long-lasting, fulfilling careers and experiences.

“The chippies are already doing an amazing job in their communities and this recognition will hopefully help attract more new starters who are also enthused by the nation’s much-loved dish."
A-list visitors to Eric's Fish and Chips and sister restaurant Eric's Pizza in Thornham include William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Jack Whitehall and actors Tom Hardy and James Norton.
