Two disused barns on a country estate could be converted into homes.
Stradsett Ltd has applied for planning permission to convert the two structures beside the A1101 at Stradsett, near Downham Market.
They are part of the Stradsett Hall estate, which is the seat of the Bagge family.
In a planning statement, it says: "In recent years the barns have been used less often since their scale limits scope for use as part of a modern farm."

Each of the Victorian structures would be converted into a single property, which will be heated by air source heat pumps.
The statement concludes: "The conversion proposed by this application is considered to be an appropriate and sustainable used for a pair of important structures which are otherwise redundant for their original intended purpose.
"The conversion can be achieved with minimal impact on local environment, road network and upon the buildings themselves."
A decision from West Norfolk council is expected in the new year.
