Plans for a 25m wind turbine at a farm in the Fens have been turned down over fears it could harm bats.
Fenland council has refused planning permission for the structure on land north of Stags Holt Farm at Coldham, near Wisbech.

A planning statement by architects Peter Humphrey Associates said: "My client is very keen to be environmentally friendly and feels this renewable energy source will contribute to that."
But the council's wildlife officer said there was insufficient information to gauge the impact the turbine could have on bats.
A planning officer's report concluded: "The application has failed to demonstrate, through the absence of appropriate information, that no harm will be caused to any protected species that might use the site and any requirements to mitigate the potential harm to any protected species."
