Tuck into a roast dinner with all the trimmings at these Norwich pubs that have recently introduced the Sunday special to their menus.
1. Heritage Kitchen at The Golden Star
Where: 57 Colegate, Norwich, NR3 1DD
Top local chef Olie McDonald, who previously worked at places such as Brix and Bones in Norwich and The Dabbling Duck in Great Massingham, recently took over the kitchen at this NR3 pub.
He serves dishes inspired from around the world, from steak frites to burgers, and his hearty Sunday roasts have proved very popular.

2. Fat Cat & Canary
Where: 101 Thorpe Road, Norwich, NR1 1TR
Roasts are finally back at the Fat Cat & Canary after the Urban Eatery left the kitchen there in May this year.
You can now enjoy the Sunday staple once more at this popular pub, which is packed with character and top-notch beers, cooked by chef Darcy McLeod.
3. Charred at The Warwick Arms
Where: The Warwick Arms, 2 Warwick Street, Norwich, NR2 3LD
Charred, owned by Derek Hardy who also has Don Txoko in St Benedicts Street, serves small plates, flatbreads and more at this Golden Triangle pub during the week.
On Sundays, you can tuck into a roast with your choice of meat or a vegetarian option served with a medley of green vegetables, honey-glazed carrots, roast potatoes, a homemade Yorkshire pudding and a generous helping of gravy.
4. The Weavers Arms
Where: 2 Muspole Street, Norwich, NR3 1DJ
Friends George Colley and Natty Crothers, also of Yard pasta and cocktail bar in the Norwich Lanes, reopened this 18th-century Norwich pub in July 2023.
As well as serving hearty pub fare, such as pies and toasties, its Sunday roasts with all the trimmings have gone down a storm.

5. Blue's at The Crown Point Tavern
Where: Kirby Road, Trowse Newton, NR14 8RN
Blue's Kitchen, also based at The Rosebery pub in NR3, recently announced its permanent residency at The Crown Point Tavern in Trowse, on the outskirts of the city.
The roasts have had rave reviews and there are also great meat-free options on the menu.
