A large tree at the heart of a village was blown down by strong winds from Storm Elin.
The tree was blown down onto a powerline to leave Redlingfield, near Eye, in darkness as cables crackled and sparked causing the emergency services to be called.
A total of 33 houses were left without power from around 4pm on Saturday as UK Power Networks began emergency work.
A home in Church Road had a narrow escape as the tree landed in their garden, demolishing their gate and fencing.
Storm Elin brought winds of up to 55mph, battering the region over the weekend.

Some local heroes stepped in to save Redlingfield, using tractors and chainsaws to cut up the tree and unblock the road.
Suffolk Police attended the scene where they worked to make the area safe.
The tree blown down was of special relevance as it was beloved by the community after being planted as part of a royal celebration many years ago.
