A seal pup has been rescued after ending up outside a lifeboat station.
The pup was spotted at the entrance of the Great Yarmouth and Gorleston Lifeboat Station on Tuesday.
Jen Rice, the lifeboat press officer, said: "Our station mechanic found the seal pup outside at around 3pm.
"He was a bit concerned because it looked quite dishevelled and there was no mum around."
The crew alerted the South Essex Wildlife Hospital which had a team stationed in Gorleston at the time.

"They have teams everywhere at the moment - they said there have been a lot of similar incidents recently," Ms Rice explained.
It is believed that the pup was washed into the River Yare and managed to get out on to the slipway beside the RNLI building.
The rescue was a success and the seal was okay.
