A school in Norfolk has been crowned the nation's smartest after winning a national quiz competition.
The Wymondham Wizards, a team of quizzers from Wymondham High Academy, travelled to London to participate in the What on Earth 2023 Quiz.
The annual quiz, by the magazine of the same name, aims to find the school with the best general knowledge in the UK.
Wymondham High started its journey early in November by winning its first online heat and this prompted three weeks of dedicated revision.
One student who took part said: "It was an amazing experience, we had so much fun and everyone was incredibly welcoming and supportive."
All the practice paid off for the Wizards as they beat schools in Cheshire and Watford on November 27 to be crowned the What On Earth! Quiz Champions 2023.
