A Norfolk pub that recently earned a second AA Rosette for culinary excellence has now reached the finals for a major national award.
Chef Richard Crouch and his partner Emily Phipps took on and refurbished The Angel at Watlington, located between Downham Market and King's Lynn, in 2018.
They have built up a strong reputation for their use of local and seasonal produce, which includes tasting menu events with game meats such as pheasant, wild duck and guinea fowl.

The couple now needs your votes to secure a victory at the London ceremony on March 14 2024.
The Angel at Watlington posted on social media: "We have just found out that we have been shortlisted for the Eat Game Awards for the second year running.
"However, to get into the top three we will need your votes of support and we would really appreciate the help as locally shot game and local produce is one of our specialities."
