One of the UK's most wanted men and a "prolific shoplifter" who carried out a 16-day-long stealing spree are among the criminals jailed in Norfolk in November.
Benjamin Macann, 34
Dereham man Benjamin Macann was apprehended in Bulgaria last year after being on the run for almost two years for his involvement in a sophisticated cocaine operation.
Macann planned to flood the county with class-A drugs and collected large sums of money from various locations across Norfolk, including a drop in Blofield said to be worth £155,000.
Appearing in Norwich Crown Court on November 17, he was jailed for 10 years.
Mark Kaye, 48
A Norwich girl was "bombarded" with dozens of inappropriate and indecent messages over a 10-week period by Kaye whom she met at a birthday party.
The IT professional was sentenced to 12 months after the court heard he told the girl he liked her in a skirt and liked her legs and even that he wanted to marry her.
The girl’s father said: “He had tried to persuade my daughter to meet him and he had driven past our home many times hoping to meet. We are just thankful it never got that far."
Darnay Alexander, 27
Darnay Alexander, 27, had spent time in Norfolk after the murder of a friend in London and was later arrested in connection with an attack in Norwich.
It is now accepted that he was not involved in the attack - but during his arrest on May 23, officers found heroin and cocaine, as well as a phone containing "bulk messages" advertising drugs for sale in Norwich.
He was jailed for two and a half years at Norwich Crown Court on November 13.
Luke Nash, 40
Nash was arrested in an abandoned building earlier this month following a spree in which he targeted shops including Tesco and Asda from the end of October to the start of November.
Jailing him for 12 weeks, the court also banned him from certain shops for five years with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
PC Jordan Westwood said: "Prolific shoplifters such as Nash can have a significant impact on the business community.
Mark Aslopp, 43
Aslopp, of Rye Close in Norwich, was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison following the vehicle interference on November 9.
The incident happened in the early hours of the morning at a car park in St Swithin's Road where Alsopp was spotted trying the door handles of two cars.
Alsopp then made violent threats towards a witness who challenged and started to record him.
