A woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash involving a van.
Police were called to Swanton Avenue in Dereham at 12.08pm today (November 29) following reports of a crash between a white Renault Master van and a pedestrian.
Emergency services including fire, ambulance and an air ambulance also attended the scene.
The pedestrian was a woman in her 70s who was assessed and treated before being taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The incident caused long delays in the area and the police remained at the scene for the majority of the day.
Norfolk Constabulary is asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch quoting the reference NC-29112023-172.
